Mercedes-AMG GT63 / GT63 S (C192 · M177 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8) — Stage 3 Power Package
The GT 4-Door is already the most capable AMG grand tourer ever built — Stage 3 makes it untouchable. 1,000 HP+ rated turbo hardware, unrestricted exhaust flow, and a calibration developed on the same M177 platform that produced the world's first sub-10-second Mercedes-AMG C63 W205 quarter mile — 9.97 seconds at 828 WHP at Beech Bend Raceway Park, Kentucky on April 9, 2019. Adapted for the GT63's heavier curb weight, 4MATIC+ drivetrain, and rear-axle steering dynamics.
Performance — Stock vs Stage 3
| Spec | GT63 Stock | GT63 S Stock | Stage 3 (Pump Fuel) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peak Power | 577 HP | 630 HP | 850+ WHP |
| Peak Torque | 800 Nm | 900 Nm | 1,100+ Nm |
| Turbo Hardware | Factory | Factory | YPG 1,000 HP+ Rated |
| Exhaust Flow | Catalyzed | Catalyzed | Catless Full-Flow |
On E85 or methanol supplementation with forged internals, 1,000+ WHP is achievable on this hardware.

- YPG Catless Downpipes (GT63 / GT63 S C192) — mandrel-bent stainless steel, required for Stage 3 boost targets ($2,399 individually)
- YPG Stage 3 ECU Calibration — boost, fueling, ignition timing, torque limiters, AWD distribution, and launch control all revised for the upgraded hardware. Delivered via YPG Flash with datalog-based revisions ($2,000 individually)
Package price: $9,899 — saves $500 vs buying separately ($10,398).
Who This Package Is For
GT63 owners chasing half-mile dominance, drag strip times, or the kind of highway power that makes a Lamborghini Huracán disappear in the mirror. The C192 with 4MATIC+ and rear-axle steering is one of the most capable high-power platforms AMG has ever built — it hooks Stage 3 torque like nothing else in the lineup. If you want the fastest four-door AMG at your local drag event, or a grand tourer that casually makes 850+ WHP on pump fuel, this is the build.
Why a Matched Package From One Builder
Stage 3 power depends on the turbos, exhaust flow, and calibration working as a system. The ECU calibration in this package is developed specifically for these turbos and these downpipes — not a generic file layered over mixed hardware from different vendors. One order, one shipment, one calibration file, one team responsible for the result.
Delivery & Support
Hardware ships worldwide. GCC delivery to Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman via FedEx International Priority (1–3 business days). ECU calibration delivered remotely via YPG Flash — no need to ship the car. Datalog-based revisions included until the car is right. Installation available at YPG Motorsport Kuwait or through your local performance workshop.
Common Questions
Do I need forged internals for Stage 3 on the GT63?
For power levels up to approximately 800 WHP on the M177, the factory internals can hold. Beyond 850 WHP, especially on E85 or with regular drag strip use, forged rods and pistons are strongly recommended. YPG offers M177 forged internals rated for 1,500+ HP.
How does Stage 3 affect the GT63's launch control?
The Stage 3 calibration revises the factory launch control parameters to work with the increased power output. With 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and the GT63's wider rear track, launches are significantly more violent than stock — the drivetrain hooks harder than any other M177 platform.
Can I run Stage 3 on pump fuel?
Yes. The calibration is developed for 95–98 RON (91–93 octane) pump fuel as the baseline. For maximum power beyond 900 WHP, E85 or methanol injection is recommended.
What's the difference between Stage 2 and Stage 3?
Stage 2 maximizes power on factory turbochargers (typically 700–762 WHP on the GT63 S). Stage 3 replaces the turbos with higher-capacity units, adds catless downpipes, and includes a calibration developed for the new hardware.
