Mercedes-AMG E63 W213 — M177 4.0T V8 ECU Tuning & Performance Parts

The Mercedes-AMG E63 W213 runs the M177 LS2 variant — the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 architecture as the C63, but with twin-scroll turbochargers, larger compressor housings, and more aggressive factory boost targets. Factory output is 563 HP (E63) or 603 HP (E63 S), with AMG's 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and a rear-biased torque split. The E63 S adds a rear-axle locking differential and Drift Mode.

The E63 responds enormously to ECU calibration because Mercedes leaves significant headroom in the factory mapping. A Stage 1 tune delivers 650–700 HP on stock hardware. Add catless downpipes and a Stage 2 calibration for 720–780 HP with dramatically improved turbo spool and exhaust note. For builds beyond 800 HP, the YPG Stage 3 Package combines hybrid turbochargers, race downpipes, and ECU calibration in a single SKU — 1,000 HP+ capable on the stock block.

What's available: Stage 1 and Stage 2 ECU tunes via YPG Flash (remote OBD) or YPG Bench (mail-in), catless and 200-cell downpipes in 304 stainless steel, Eventuri carbon intake systems, Stage 3 turbo packages, M177 forged internals rated to 1,500 HP, and complete crate engine builds.
