ECU Unlock Services

Mail-in ECU unlock services for locked Bosch DME/DDE control units. Late-model exotic and performance ECUs (2018+) ship from the factory with tuning protection (TC1791/TC1793 lock, MG1/MDG1 secure boot). These unlock services remove the read/write lock on your ECU so it can accept a custom YPG calibration.

Purchase requirements: Unlock services are sold as an add-on and must be purchased alongside a YPG Flash or YPG Bench tune. Standalone unlock purchases will be refunded.

Process: After purchase, ship your ECU to YPG Motorsport Kuwait. We coordinate the unlock via our Autotuner mail-in partnership (Luxembourg), receive the unlocked ECU back, flash your custom YPG tune, and ship the tuned + unlocked ECU back to you via FedEx International Priority. Turnaround typically 10–14 business days.
