Why Link ECU?

Link Engine Management is a world-leading standalone ECU manufacturer headquartered in Christchurch, New Zealand. With over 30 years of development since 1993, Link ECUs are exported to more than 65 countries and supported by over 1,500 authorized dealers worldwide. From rally origins to championship-level drag racing, time attack, and circuit competition, Link has maintained a strong connection to professional motorsport while delivering products that are renowned for performance, reliability, and value.

Link ECUs are 100% New Zealand designed and developed, backed by a limited lifetime warranty — if it breaks in the normal course of its designed use, Link will repair or replace it. The company maintains sales offices in Liverpool (UK), Detroit (USA), Portland (USA), Barcelona (Spain), and Brisbane (Australia), plus four fulfillment warehouses worldwide for fast delivery to dealers.

YPG Motorsport is proud to offer Link ECU products and professional installation, wiring, and calibration services to the GCC market. Whether you are building a time attack car, a drag racing project, or upgrading a street car beyond the limits of the stock ECU, we deliver complete standalone engine management solutions.

Link ECU Product Range

G5 Voodoo Pro — Next-Generation Flagship

The G5 Voodoo Pro is Link's most advanced ECU. It features a dual microcontroller architecture (one dedicated to engine control, one to communications), 512 MB of onboard datalogging, built-in Wi-Fi, GPS module, USB-C connectivity, and dual onboard wideband lambda controllers. With 12 injection, 8 ignition, and 4 multi-purpose drives (24 total), the Voodoo Pro controls up to 12 cylinders sequentially or 8 cylinders with staged injection — including direct injection capability via external DI driver. Dual e-throttle support with built-in failsafe disconnect relays, up to 30 auxiliary outputs, and Dual CAN bus make this the ultimate choice for professional motorsport and complex builds. Runs on the same PC Link software as G4X — no relearning required.

G4X Series — Wire-In ECUs

The G4X wire-in platform is Link's proven standalone range for custom builds, engine swaps, and performance applications. All G4X models feature a fast microcontroller, 512 MB datalogging at 32-bit resolution across up to 250 channels, and communications speeds 8x faster than the previous generation. The range includes:

  • AtomX — Entry-level ECU, compact form factor, ideal for budget-conscious 4-cylinder builds
  • MonsoonX — Controls up to 2 rotors or 4 cylinders sequential, or up to 8 cylinders batch fire. 512 MB logging with precise control loops
  • StormX — Mid-range workhorse. 8 injector and 8 ignition drives for up to 8 cylinders or 4 rotors. Built-in trigger scope, stepper idle, knock control, closed-loop boost, anti-lag, launch control, and gear shift control
  • FuryX — 8 injector and 6 ignition drives for up to 6 cylinders or 3 rotors. Onboard digital wideband lambda controller for higher accuracy calibration
  • XtremeX — Premium G4X unit. 8 injector and 8 ignition drives, built-in e-throttle, anti-lag, cruise control, traction control. Ideal for professional motorsport and demanding road car applications

G4X Series — Plug-In ECUs

Link's plug-in ECUs are a true plug-and-play solution — they use the car's factory OEM wiring loom with no adapter harnesses required. Remove the stock ECU, plug in the Link, and tune. Onboard 4.0 bar MAP sensor, full sequential injection and ignition support, and all the G4X platform features. Available for:

  • Nissan — Skyline GT-R (RB20/RB25/RB26), 350Z, 370Z, 300ZX Z32, Silvia/200SX
  • Toyota — Supra 2JZ, MR2, Caldina, Altezza 3SGE
  • Subaru — WRX, STI (EJ series)
  • Mitsubishi — Lancer Evolution IV through IX
  • Mazda — RX-7 FD3S, MX-5/Miata
  • Honda — Civic, Integra (OBD1/OBD2)
  • BMW — E36, E46
  • Audi — S3/TT 8N (1.8T)
  • Mini — Cooper S R53

Razor PDM — Power Distribution Module

The Link Razor PDM is a programmable computer that manages power delivery to components like lights, fans, fuel pumps, and ignition systems. It processes inputs from ECUs, CAN keypads, switches, or sensors — eliminating bulky fuse boxes and relay panels. Essential for clean motorsport wiring and professional-grade installations.

Accessories and Wiring

Complete range of Link ECU accessories: wideband O2 controllers and sensors, CAN EGT modules, CAN keypads, DI driver modules, driver displays (MXS Dash), e-throttle modules, boost control solenoids, ignition and injection components, connector kits, engine harnesses (including LS engine harness), looms, sensors, trigger wheels, and tuning tools. Everything needed for a complete standalone installation from a single source.

PC Link Tuning Software

All Link ECUs are tuned via PC Link — Link's free tuning software available for download from linkecu.com. PC Link provides a user-friendly platform to calibrate fuel maps, ignition timing, boost control, launch control, anti-lag, traction control, and every other engine parameter. Both G4X and G5 map files and log files open in the same software, and G4X maps can be loaded directly into a G5 Voodoo Pro for seamless upgrades. The built-in Help file explains every feature and calibration procedure in detail.

Engine Compatibility

Link ECUs support 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 cylinder engines, as well as 2, 3, and 4 rotor engines. Manual transmissions are always supported, and select plug-in models also support automatic transmissions. Link ECUs are used to control cars, motorcycles, boats, jet skis, snowmobiles, and even aircraft — any spark-ignition petrol engine.
