Aston Martin's partnership with Mercedes-AMG put the M177 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 into the heart of the modern Aston Martin lineup — the Vantage (2018+), DB11 V8, DB12, DBX and DBX707. It's the same engine architecture found in the C63 W205, E63, and AMG GT, which means it benefits from over a decade of aftermarket ECU development.

YPG Motorsport has been developing the M177 platform since its debut, holding the world record for the first sub-10-second C63 W205 quarter mile. That same calibration expertise applies directly to the Aston Martin variants. The key difference is the Aston Martin ECU mapping — factory power levels and torque curves are unique to each model, so each tune is built specifically for the Vantage, DB11 V8, DB12, DBX or DBX707.

Stage 1 ECU Tune: Optimized boost, ignition timing and fueling on completely stock hardware. Gains range from +60 HP on the DB12 to +80 HP on the DBX, with improved throttle response and mid-range torque throughout the rev range. No hardware changes required — flash via YPG Flash or bench tune at our Kuwait facility.

Stage 2 ECU Tune: Unlocks the full potential of the M177 with supporting hardware modifications (catless or 200-cell downpipes). Gains of +110 to +130 HP depending on the model, with the DBX707 pushing past 900 HP. Stage 2 also includes optimized transmission calibration for the ZF 8-speed.
