Mercedes-AMG E63 W212 — M157 5.5T V8 ECU Tuning & Performance Parts

The Mercedes-AMG E63 W212 runs the M157 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 — Mercedes-AMG's last large-displacement forced-induction V8 before the downsizing to the 4.0-liter M177. Factory output is 549 HP (E63) or 577 HP (E63 S) with 664 lb-ft of torque. The M157 is renowned for its enormous low-end torque delivery and its ability to produce over 800 HP on stock turbochargers with aggressive ECU calibration.

A Stage 1 ECU tune delivers 630–680 HP. Stage 2 with catless downpipes and intake pushes to 720–780 HP. The M157's factory turbochargers have significantly more headroom than the smaller units on the M177, making this one of the most cost-effective platforms for high-power tuning — more power per dollar spent than almost any other AMG engine family.

What's available: Stage 1 and Stage 2 ECU tunes via YPG Flash or YPG Bench, M157 high-flow air filters, catless downpipes, custom reflash calibrations for stock and upgraded turbo configurations, and M157 forged internals for builds pushing past 850 HP. All calibrations developed in-house by YPG Motorsport.
