ECU calibration only. Optimizes boost targets, ignition timing, fuel maps, and torque limiters. No hardware changes needed. Transforms throttle response and midrange pull on S63TU, S55, S58 platforms.
Paired with downpipes and upgraded charge cooler, Stage 2 unlocks the full potential of the stock turbos. CSF charge coolers make a significant difference on S63TU under hard driving. TCU calibration removes transmission torque limits.
Adds ethanol fueling or port injection to the Stage 2 setup. The S63TU responds extremely well to E30 blends with improved power and thermal stability. Full ECU/TCU revision included.

A YPG Stage 2 ECU + TCU calibration on the S63TU paired with downpipes and a CSF charge cooler commonly produces 700–730whp on 93 octane. With E30 fueling Stage 3 builds regularly exceed 780whp.
Yes — especially above 600whp. The DCT and automatic transmissions in BMW M cars have independent torque limiters that cap output regardless of ECU tuning. A YPG TCU calibration removes these limits and dramatically improves shift quality and response.
Strongly recommended for Stage 2 and above. The stock heat exchangers on S63TU cars heat soak quickly under hard driving and cause power pull. CSF charge coolers maintain consistent power across multiple runs — critical for track use.
