Mercedes Continental EMS71 Mail-In ECU Unlock — YPG Motorsport
Compatible with: Mercedes-Benz platforms equipped with the Continental EMS71 ECU. The EMS71 is used on select Mercedes engines that don't fall under the Bosch MDG1 family and requires a specialized mail-in unlock procedure.
The Continental EMS71 ships from the factory locked and blocks all third-party read/write access. This mail-in unlock permanently removes the security lock so YPG Motorsport can flash your custom Stage 1, Stage 2, or Stage 3 Mercedes calibration on the bench.

Purchase Requirements
This unlock service is an add-on and cannot be purchased alone. You must also purchase a YPG Bench tune for your Mercedes. Standalone unlock purchases will be refunded and cancelled.

- We coordinate the mail-in unlock (7–10 business days)
- ECU returned to YPG, flashed with your custom Mercedes tune, and shipped back to you
