How It Works
Not sure which Link ECU is right for your project? YPG Motorsport offers a free consultation to assess your build and recommend the correct standalone engine management solution. We will evaluate your engine platform, modification level, goals, and budget — then provide a clear recommendation covering the ECU model, required accessories, harness options, and estimated installation scope.
Whether you are planning a turbo conversion, an engine swap, a dedicated race build, or upgrading from a factory ECU that has reached its limits, we will guide you through the process from product selection to final calibration.
What to Prepare
To give you the best recommendation, please have the following details ready when you contact us:
1. Vehicle and Engine
Year, make, model, and engine code. If this is an engine swap, specify both the donor engine and the target chassis. Include displacement, aspiration (NA, turbo, supercharged), and fuel system type (port injection, direct injection, or carbureted).
2. Current Modifications
List all existing modifications — turbo/supercharger upgrades, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, exhaust, camshafts, built internals, and any existing engine management (piggyback, flash tune, or another standalone).
3. Power Target and Goals
Approximate horsepower target. Is this a street car, a weekend track car, or a dedicated race car? Do you need features like launch control, anti-lag, traction control, flex fuel, or datalogging? Will you need electronic throttle (drive-by-wire) control?
4. Transmission
Manual or automatic. If automatic, specify the transmission model — some Link plug-in ECUs support automatic transmissions, while most wire-in applications require the factory ECU to remain in parallel for gearbox control.
5. Location and Timeline
Are you in Kuwait (workshop installation) or elsewhere in the GCC / internationally (remote supply and support)? What is your build timeline — planning stage, ready to install, or mid-build needing an ECU now?
