Mercedes-AMG GLC63 / GLC63 S (X253 / C253 · M177 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8) — Stage 3 Power Package

1,000 HP in an SUV. The GLC63 is already the most aggressive performance SUV in its class — Stage 3 makes it absurd. This package uses the same M177 turbo and calibration platform that produced the world's first sub-10-second Mercedes-AMG C63 W205 quarter mile — 9.97 seconds at 828 WHP at Beech Bend Raceway Park, Kentucky on April 9, 2019. Full turbo upgrade, unrestricted exhaust, and a calibration built for the GLC63's AWD system and higher ride height.

Performance — Stock vs Stage 3

Spec GLC63 Stock GLC63 S Stock Stage 3 (Pump Fuel)
Peak Power 476 HP 510 HP 800+ WHP
Peak Torque 650 Nm 700 Nm 950+ Nm
Turbo Hardware Factory IHI Factory IHI YPG 1,000 HP+ Rated
Exhaust Flow Catalyzed Catalyzed Catless Full-Flow

On E85 or methanol supplementation with forged internals, 1,000+ WHP is achievable on this hardware.

What's Included

  • YPG Stage 3 Turbo Upgrade (GLC63 M177) — 1,000 HP+ rated turbochargers, drop-in fitment, factory wastegate actuation retained ($5,799 individually)
  • YPG Catless Downpipes (GLC63 / GLC63 S) — mandrel-bent stainless steel, required for Stage 3 boost targets ($1,999 individually)
  • YPG Stage 3 ECU Calibration — boost, fueling, ignition timing, torque limiters, and AWD torque distribution all revised for the GLC63 platform. Delivered via YPG Flash with datalog-based revisions ($2,000 individually)

Package price: $9,299 — saves $500 vs buying separately ($9,798).

Who This Package Is For

GLC63 owners who refuse to accept that an SUV should be slow. The 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system hooks Stage 3 power with brutal efficiency, and the higher center of gravity makes the launch dynamics genuinely violent. If you want an SUV that runs deep into the 10s at the drag strip, dominates roll races against cars half its weight, or simply want the most powerful GLC63 in your country — this is the build.

Why a Matched Package From One Builder

Stage 3 power depends on the turbos, exhaust flow, and calibration working as a system. The ECU calibration in this package is developed specifically for these turbos and these downpipes — not a generic file layered over mixed hardware from different vendors. One order, one shipment, one calibration file, one team responsible for the result.

Delivery & Support

Hardware ships worldwide. GCC delivery to Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman via FedEx International Priority (1–3 business days). ECU calibration delivered remotely via YPG Flash — no need to ship the car. Datalog-based revisions included until the car is right. Installation available at YPG Motorsport Kuwait or through your local performance workshop.

Common Questions

Do I need forged internals for Stage 3 on the GLC63?
For power levels up to approximately 800 WHP on the M177, the factory internals can hold. Beyond 850 WHP, especially on E85 or with regular drag strip use, forged rods and pistons are strongly recommended. YPG offers M177 forged internals rated for 1,500+ HP.

Does the GLC63's AWD system handle Stage 3 power?
Yes. The 4MATIC+ system is robust and distributes Stage 3 torque effectively. The AWD advantage means the GLC63 actually hooks better off the line than the RWD C63 at similar power levels, making it one of the most effective drag platforms in the AMG range.

Can I run Stage 3 on pump fuel?
Yes. The calibration is developed for 95–98 RON (91–93 octane) pump fuel as the baseline. For maximum power beyond 900 WHP, E85 or methanol injection is recommended.

What's the difference between Stage 2 and Stage 3?
Stage 2 maximizes power on factory turbochargers (typically 550–600 WHP on the GLC63). Stage 3 replaces the turbos with higher-capacity units, adds catless downpipes, and includes a calibration developed for the new hardware — a significant hardware change, not just software.
