Mercedes-Benz W213 E63 Catless Downpipes — M177 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8
YPG Motorsport catless downpipes for the Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63 S (W213) replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters with full 3.5-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel pipes. The result: significantly reduced backpressure, faster turbo spool, sharper throttle response, and a deeper, more aggressive V8 exhaust note with pronounced burbles and crackles on overrun.
On the M177 platform, downpipes are the single highest-impact bolt-on modification available. When paired with a Stage 2 ECU calibration, expect 750–800 HP and 800–850 lb-ft of torque — turning the E63 S into a legitimate 10-second quarter-mile car in full sedan form. The all-wheel-drive system hooks every bit of it.

Installation
