Custom forged pistons for the Mercedes-AMG M157 5.5L twin-turbo V8 — purpose-built to handle extreme boost, timing, and cylinder pressures far beyond factory limits. The M157 is the second-generation AMG twin-turbo V8 that powered the E63, CLS63, G63, S63, SL63, ML63, GL63, and GLE63 before the M177 took over the platform.
The M157 is famously durable at stock power, but once pushed past 700+ HP with upgraded turbos, methanol/E85 fuel, or aggressive tuning, factory cast pistons become the weak link. Our forged piston set delivers the strength needed for high-boost operation without the full cost of a complete forged internals kit.
