Frequently Asked Questions

How much HP does the AMG GT63 Race Chip add?

+40HP on the M177 — 617HP on GT63, 670HP on GT63 S. The YPG Stage 1 ECU calibration adds +90HP if you want the maximum pump fuel result.

Will the Race Chip affect my factory warranty?

The Race Chip does not permanently rewrite the ECU. It can be unplugged and removed to return to stock status before any dealer service visit.

Does the Race Chip require a CPC unlock on the GT63?

Yes. Without the CPC unlock, the Race Chip's gains will be partially overridden by the CPC module's torque limiters. The CPC unlock is the mandatory first step.
