The Link DI Driver-4 is a four-channel direct injection driver module that provides the high-current switching required to operate piezo or solenoid-type direct injectors. Direct injection engines require significantly higher injector drive currents than port injection — the DI Driver-4 handles this externally, allowing Link G5 Voodoo-series ECUs to control DI systems without needing the driver circuitry built into the ECU itself.
Each DI Driver-4 module controls up to four direct injectors. For V8 or larger DI applications, two DI Driver-4 units can be daisy-chained. The module connects to the Link ECU via CAN bus for control signal communication.
