Aston Martin DBX / DBX707 Downpipes — Catless, 200-Cell & 400-Cell High-Flow | M177 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 | 2020+
YPG Motorsport race downpipes for the Aston Martin DBX and DBX707 replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters with precision-engineered, flow-optimized stainless steel pipes. The DBX707 uses the AMG M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8 — the same engine platform YPG has been building and tuning since 2011, and the same engine that powered the first sub-10-second C63 quarter mile in history.
The factory catalytic converters on the DBX sit directly downstream of the turbochargers, creating significant backpressure right where exhaust gas velocity is highest. Replacing them with aftermarket downpipes is the single highest-impact bolt-on modification available — unlocking faster turbo spool, sharper throttle response, substantial power gains, and a dramatically deeper, more aggressive V8 exhaust note with the burbles and crackles that the factory system suppresses.

Catless vs 200-Cell vs 400-Cell — Which Should You Choose?
Catless downpipes ($2,499) — Zero restriction. Maximum flow, maximum power, loudest and most aggressive exhaust note. Approximately 4–6 kg lighter than OEM. Power gain: +20–30 HP on stock tune, +130 HP total with Stage 2 ECU tune. Best for: track use, spirited driving, builds prioritizing maximum performance.
200-cell high-flow catted ($3,900) — 200cpsi metallic substrate sport catalysts with high-temperature metallic core. Flow is within 5–10 HP of catless while substantially reducing exhaust smell. Power gain: +15–25 HP on stock tune. Best for: daily-driven DBX builds, enclosed garage parking, owners who want performance without the cabin odor.
400-cell GESI high-flow catted ($5,499) — GESI GEN2 UHO (Ultra High Output) 400cpsi catalytic converters with metallic substrate, rated for 1,000+ HP. Closest to emissions compliance while still delivering meaningful flow improvement and enhanced exhaust sound. Power gain: +10–20 HP on stock tune. Best for: street builds prioritizing compliance alongside performance gains.

Installation
Professional installation recommended (3–5 hours typical). The downpipes bolt directly to the factory turbo outlet flanges — no cutting, welding, or fabrication required. Compatible with factory exhaust and aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems.
An ECU calibration is recommended to eliminate any check engine light and unlock the full performance potential. YPG Motorsport offers Stage 1 and Stage 2 ECU tuning for the DBX / DBX707 M177 platform.
Why YPG Motorsport for Aston Martin
The DBX707 uses the same AMG M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that YPG Motorsport has been building and tuning since the platform launched. Our team holds the world record for the first sub-10-second M177 quarter mile — 9.97 seconds at 828 WHP, set at Beech Bend Raceway Park, Kentucky. We build 1,000+ HP M177 crate engines. Every part we sell is a part we'd put on our own builds.
Ships worldwide with free delivery. GCC stock available for same-week dispatch to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will aftermarket downpipes void my Aston Martin warranty?
Aftermarket downpipes are a bolt-on modification that can be removed and returned to stock at any time. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (US), a dealer must prove that the modification caused the failure to deny a warranty claim.
Do I need a tune with DBX707 downpipes?
An ECU calibration is recommended to eliminate any potential check engine light from rear O2 sensor changes and to unlock the full performance potential. YPG Motorsport offers Stage 2 ECU tuning for the DBX / DBX707 — +130 HP over stock.
How much do Aston Martin DBX707 downpipes cost?
YPG Motorsport DBX707 catless downpipes are $2,499. 200-cell high-flow catted: $3,900. 400-cell GESI high-flow catted: $5,499. All options include free worldwide shipping and a lifetime warranty.
Do DBX707 downpipes fit the standard DBX?
Yes. The standard DBX and the DBX707 both use the same M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with identical exhaust routing. The same downpipes fit both models, and also fit the Aston Martin Vantage (2018+), DB11 V8 (2018+), and DB12 (2023+).
What is the difference between 200-cell and 400-cell GESI downpipes?
200-cell catalysts have larger channels that flow more freely — closer to catless performance, but less catalytic conversion. 400-cell GESI GEN2 UHO catalysts have denser channels providing more effective catalytic conversion while still flowing far better than OEM ceramic units. 200-cell delivers slightly more power; 400-cell delivers better emissions compliance. Both use high-temperature metallic substrates.
Will DBX downpipes trigger a check engine light?
Catless downpipes will trigger a CEL without an ECU calibration. 200-cell and 400-cell options are less likely to trigger a light, but a tune is still recommended for optimal performance and to ensure no warnings appear.
Are catless downpipes louder than catted?
Yes. Catless downpipes produce the loudest, most aggressive exhaust note — deeper V8 tone with pronounced burbles, pops, and crackles on overrun. 200-cell catted pipes are noticeably louder than stock but more refined. 400-cell GESI pipes produce a moderate increase over stock.
