The Mercedes-AMG GT63 4-door Coupe (C192 chassis) with the M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8 is one of the most popular tuning platforms in the GCC. At 630 HP in standard form and with the same basic engine architecture as the world-record C63 W205, the GT63 responds dramatically to ECU calibration and supporting hardware upgrades. CPC Unlock — What It Is

The AMG GT63 has a factory software torque ceiling — the CPC (Controlled Performance Ceiling) — that limits peak torque regardless of ECU calibration. YPG's CPC Unlock removes this ceiling via software, allowing the full M177 torque potential to be delivered to the drivetrain. Additionally, the CPC Unlock enables:

  • Vmax removal: Factory top speed limiter deleted
  • Exhaust valve control: Exhaust valve can be operated via the stock AMG exhaust button in any drive mode, rather than being mode-locked by the factory software

The CPC Unlock is typically performed alongside the Stage 1 or Stage 2 ECU calibration as a combined service.

Stage 2 — ECU + Catless Downpipes + Eventuri

Stage 2 pairs the ECU/CPC calibration with catless downpipes and an Eventuri carbon cold air intake. The M177 in the GT63 benefits substantially from both — the hot-vee twin-turbo placement creates significant heat soak in the engine bay that the Eventuri sealed intake system combats directly.

  • Power: 790–820 HP / +160–190 HP over stock
  • Sound: The GT63 with catless M177 downpipes produces one of the best V8 biturbo exhaust notes available

TCU Tuning

The AMG GT63's 9-speed MCT transmission responds well to calibration. YPG TCU tuning delivers faster, harder upshifts, reduced converter slip, and wider torque delivery windows that allow the Stage 2 power increase to be fully utilized in both daily driving and track use at Kuwait Motor Town.

Stage 3 & Stage 4
