Technology
What Is a Beadlock Wheel?
A beadlock wheel uses a clamped outer ring to mechanically secure the tire bead to the rim. At low tire pressures used during drag launches, standard wheels allow the tire to slip on the rim — killing your 60-foot time and risking a blowout.
YPG beadlocks eliminate tire slip entirely. The CNC-machined 6061-T6 ring bolts directly to the wheel face, locking the bead in place regardless of pressure. Same technology used in professional drag racing worldwide.
Every ring is laser-engraved with YPG MOTORSPORT branding. Functional hardware that looks as aggressive as it performs.
