Will a tune affect my Japanese shaken inspection?

Japan's mandatory vehicle inspection (shaken / 車検) tests emissions, safety equipment, and mechanical condition. An ECU tune modifies factory calibration and could affect emissions readings. YPG bench and remote flashes are fully reversible — the stock file is always backed up and can be reflashed before inspection. Discuss your specific situation with YPG before ordering.
