BMW M5 F90 Competition xDrive 625 PS — YPG Motorsport Race Chip | ~740 HP / 900 NM

The YPG Motorsport Race Chip for the M5 F90 Competition is a plug-and-play piggyback tuning module for the S63 4.4L twin-turbo V8. Installs inline with the factory wiring harness in minutes — no ECU removal, no flashing, no specialist tools required.

Application

The Race Chip module installs directly in the engine bay, connecting inline with the factory fuel pressure and boost sensor harness on the S63 4.4L twin-turbo V8. No cutting, no splicing — OEM-style connectors plug directly into your existing wiring. Installation takes 15–30 minutes with basic hand tools, no lift required. Once fitted, the unit sits discreetly in the engine bay, completely hidden from view.

7 Power Maps

The Race Chip includes 7 selectable power maps, switchable on the fly from inside the cabin:

• Map 0 — Stock. Module inactive, car runs factory calibration. Fully traceless.
• Map 1 — Eco. Optimised for fuel efficiency at partial throttle. Up to 15% economy improvement in daily driving.
• Map 2 — Sport. Moderate power increase with improved throttle response. Ideal for everyday performance driving.
• Map 3 — Sport+. Stronger boost and torque delivery across the mid-range. Noticeably sharper than stock.
• Map 4 — Race. Significant power gain with full boost optimisation. Track and canyon use.
• Map 5 — Race+. Near-maximum output. Aggressive boost curve and fuelling. Spirited track use.
• Map 6 — Race Max. Maximum power output the module supports. ~740 HP / 900 NM. Full performance mode.

Throttle Control

In addition to power maps, the Race Chip features independent throttle control with multiple response settings. Adjust pedal sensitivity separately from your power map — sharper throttle feel for track sessions, softer response for daily commuting. Throttle control settings combine with any of the 7 power maps for a fully customised driving experience.
