2. Receive your YPG Flash device — a branded OBD programming unit ships to your address via FedEx International Priority, typically arriving within 2–4 days across the GCC.
3. Connect and read — plug the device into your car's OBD-II port, open the YPG mobile app, and follow the guided instructions. The app reads your current ECU calibration and securely transmits it to our engineering team.
4. We tune — our engineers calibrate your file against your selected stage, fuel octane, and climate requirements. Your custom map is delivered back through the app, usually the same day.
5. Write and drive — the app notifies you when your file is ready. Write it to your car in minutes. The device stays linked to your VIN for any future revisions.

For customers running E85, 100-octane race fuel, or Sunoco blends, YPG offers a dedicated race fuel calibration as a paid upgrade. Frequently Asked Questions

Will a Stage 1 tune void my Maserati warranty?

Any aftermarket ECU modification can be detected by the dealer. However, the YPG Flash device allows you to revert to your original stock calibration before any dealer visit. Many of our customers have maintained their dealer relationships without issue by reverting before service appointments.

What fuel octane does Stage 1 require?

Stage 1 is calibrated for premium pump fuel — 95 RON minimum, 98 RON recommended. In the GCC region, Super 98 is widely available and is the recommended fuel for this calibration. For customers running higher-octane race fuels, we offer a dedicated race fuel calibration as a paid upgrade.

Can I revert to the stock tune?

Yes. The YPG Flash device stores your original factory calibration. You can switch between your YPG tune and the stock map at any time directly from the YPG mobile app. The process takes minutes.

How long does the tuning process take?

Once we receive your ECU read, our engineers typically deliver your custom calibration the same day. The entire process from plugging in the device to driving on your new tune can be completed in under 24 hours.

Is this tune safe for daily driving in Gulf summer heat?

Yes. YPG calibrations are developed with GCC climate conditions in mind — high ambient temperatures, humidity, and fuel quality variations. All OEM safety protections including knock detection, thermal management, and diagnostic monitoring remain fully active.

Do I need to upgrade my Levante's exhaust or intake for Stage 1?

No. Stage 1 is designed for a completely stock vehicle. No hardware modifications of any kind are required. When you are ready for more power, pair aftermarket downpipes with our Stage 2 calibration for significantly higher gains.

Does the YPG Flash device work on right-hand-drive Levante models?

Yes. The ECU hardware is identical regardless of steering configuration. YPG Flash supports both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive Maserati Levante models.

Can I upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2 later?

Yes. Your YPG Flash device stays linked to your VIN. When you install aftermarket downpipes, contact us and we will deliver your Stage 2 calibration through the same device. You only pay the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 pricing.
