The M156 is one of the strongest naturally aspirated AMG engines ever produced — the last hand-built AMG V8 before the twin-turbo M157/M177 era. But when builders push it into forced induction territory (supercharger swaps, twin-turbo conversions, methanol builds) or high-RPM race applications, factory cast pistons become the limiting factor. Our forged piston set delivers the strength needed to unlock the M156's full potential without the full cost of a complete forged internals kit.
