Master vs Slave — What's the Difference?
The Master tool operates independently. You read ECU files, modify calibrations yourself (or have them modified by a calibration partner), and write them back. Full standalone control — no subscription to another tuner's account required.
The Slave tool connects to a Master user's account. The Slave user reads the ECU and sends the file to the Master, who modifies it and sends it back. The Slave user cannot modify calibrations directly. Choose Master if you're a tuner or shop. Choose Slave if you work with an existing tuner who provides calibration files.
