Aventador ECU Tune: $1,999-$4,999 | +50-80HP Gains | Full Cost & Process Guide (2026)
YPG Motorsport Aventador Stage 2 ECU tuning starts at $2,999 and adds +70HP to the LP770-4 V12, bringing total output to 840HP and 580 lb-ft of torque.
The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the most iconic naturally aspirated supercars ever built. Its L539 6.5L V12 responds exceptionally well to ECU calibration — and unlike turbocharged platforms, every gain is felt across the entire rev range.
This guide covers everything: how much it costs, what power gains to expect, what's required, and how the entire process works from order to installation.
How Much Does Aventador ECU Tuning Cost?
| Stage | Price | HP Gain | TQ Gain | Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YPG Stage 2 | $2,999 | +70 HP (770→840) | +50 TQ (530→580) | Cat bypass + 98 RON |
| DME Stage 1 | $2,999.99 | Moderate gains | Moderate gains | 98 RON minimum |
| DME Stage 2 | $3,499 | Significant gains | Significant gains | Cat bypass + 98 RON |
YPG Motorsport's Stage 2 calibration is the most popular choice. The pricing includes the bench flash service, return shipping worldwide, and a return-to-stock file at no extra cost.
What Power Gains Does Stage 2 Produce?
YPG Motorsport Stage 2 — Aventador SVJ LP770-4:
- Stock: 770 HP / 530 lb-ft TQ
- Tuned: 840 HP / 580 lb-ft TQ
- Gains: +70 HP / +50 TQ
The tune optimises ignition timing across the full RPM range, recalibrates fuel mapping and air-fuel ratios, sharpens throttle response and pedal mapping, adjusts the RPM limiter, removes the top speed limiter, and optimises valve lift and intake flow.
These gains are achieved on 93 octane / 98 RON fuel. Higher-octane race fuels can produce additional power.
What's Required for Stage 2?
Stage 2 tuning requires supporting hardware modifications:
- Cat bypass pipes or sport catalysts — Required. These remove the restriction of factory catalytic converters and allow exhaust gas to flow freely. Off-road use only.
- High-flow intake system — Recommended but not mandatory. Improves airflow to complement the ECU calibration.
- 93 octane / 98 RON fuel — Required minimum. The calibration is mapped for premium fuel.
No other modifications are needed. The Aventador's V12 is built to handle these power levels from the factory.
How Does the Process Work?
YPG Motorsport delivers Aventador ECU tuning via bench flash service:

Which Aventador Models Are Compatible?
The YPG Stage 2 calibration is compatible with all Aventador variants:
- Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 (2011-2017)
- Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster (2013-2017)
- Lamborghini Aventador S LP740-4 (2017-2019)
- Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster (2017-2019)
- Lamborghini Aventador SV LP750-4 (2015-2017)
- Lamborghini Aventador SVJ LP770-4 (2018-2021)
- Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster (2019-2021)
- Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae (2021-2022)
Stage 1 vs Stage 2: Which Should You Choose?
Stage 1 is designed for completely stock vehicles. It optimises the ECU calibration within the limits of factory hardware — no modifications needed. Gains are moderate but noticeable in throttle response and mid-range torque.
Stage 2 requires cat bypass pipes or sport catalysts but delivers the full potential of the V12. The +70HP and +50TQ gains are transformative — the Aventador feels like an entirely different car at full throttle.
For most owners, Stage 2 is the recommended path. The cost of cat bypass pipes plus the ECU calibration delivers the best value per horsepower gain on the platform.
Do You Ship Worldwide?
Yes. YPG Motorsport is based in Kuwait and ships worldwide for free. The Middle East (Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia), USA, UK, Europe, and Australia are all served directly. WhatsApp support is available for priority service in the GCC region.
