Lamborghini Huracan ECU Tuning — LP580, LP610, Performante | YPG Motorsport
The Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2, LP610-4, EVO, Performante, and Tecnica all share the same naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 — one of the great normally aspirated engines in production. While naturally aspirated engines have less tuning headroom than forced-induction platforms, the Huracan V10 responds meaningfully to ECU calibration, exhaust, and intake upgrades. YPG Motorsport tunes all Huracan variants via bench ECU calibration.
Huracan Factory Power by Variant
- LP580-2: 580 HP / 540 Nm
- LP610-4: 610 HP / 560 Nm
- Performante: 640 HP / 600 Nm
- EVO / EVO RWD: 640 HP / 600 Nm
- Tecnica: 640 HP / 565 Nm
- STO: 640 HP (motorsport-derived, limited tuning headroom)
Why Bench Tuning Is Required
All Lamborghini Huracan models use a locked factory ECU that cannot be accessed via OBD-II. The ECU must be physically removed from the car and calibrated directly on bench hardware. YPG Motorsport has full bench capability for all Huracan generations and variants.
Stage 1 — Bench ECU Only
Stage 1 calibration on the Huracan V10 focuses on throttle map optimization, fuel delivery refinement, rev limiter adjustment, and intake/ignition timing where safe headroom exists. Naturally aspirated engines have less raw power gain from ECU tuning than forced-induction platforms, but the improvements to throttle response, mid-range delivery, and rev character are immediately noticeable.
- LP580-2 Stage 1: 610–620 HP
- LP610-4 Stage 1: 640–650 HP
- Performante Stage 1: 670–680 HP
Stage 2 — ECU + Catless Downpipes + Intake
Stage 2 pairs the bench ECU calibration with catless exhaust downpipes and a performance cold air intake. On the V10, the gains from removing the catalytic converters are significant — both in flow improvement and the transformation of the Huracan's exhaust note. The V10 with catless downpipes is one of the best sounds in modern automotive performance.
- LP610-4 Stage 2: 670–700 HP
- Performante Stage 2: 700–730 HP
- Sound: The naturally aspirated V10 at full throttle through catless downpipes produces a sound that justifies the upgrade on its own
Akrapovic Exhaust for Huracan
YPG Motorsport is an authorized Akrapovic dealer. The Akrapovic Evolution and Slip-On systems for the Lamborghini Huracan are among the best exhausts available for the platform — titanium construction, significant weight reduction, and an acoustic development that enhances the V10's character without making it anti-social at low speeds. Available with and without catalytic converter retention.
