Lamborghini Aventador ECU Tuning — LP700, SV & SVJ | YPG Motorsport

The Lamborghini Aventador V12 is the defining naturally aspirated supercar of the modern era. The 6.5L V12 in LP700, SV, SVJ, and Ultimae form is one of the greatest engines ever built — and while naturally aspirated engines have less power-per-dollar tuning headroom than turbocharged platforms, the Aventador V12 responds meaningfully to ECU calibration and exhaust upgrades. YPG Motorsport performs all Aventador tuning via bench ECU calibration.

Aventador Factory Power by Variant

  • LP700-4: 700 HP / 690 Nm
  • LP750-4 SV / SVJ: 750 HP / 720 Nm
  • LP780-4 Ultimae: 780 HP / 730 Nm

Why Bench Tuning Is Required

The Lamborghini Aventador uses a locked factory ECU that cannot be accessed via OBD. The ECU must be physically removed from the car and calibrated on bench hardware. YPG Motorsport has full bench capability for all Aventador generations.

Stage 1 — Bench ECU Only

Stage 1 on the Aventador focuses on throttle map optimization, fuel delivery refinement, and ignition timing advancement where safe headroom exists. On the naturally aspirated V12, Stage 1 delivers a sharper, more immediate throttle response and improved power delivery through the mid and upper rev range.

  • LP700-4 Stage 1: 730–740 HP
  • SV / SVJ Stage 1: 780–790 HP

Stage 2 — ECU + Catless Downpipes

The transformation that catless downpipes deliver on the Aventador V12 is extraordinary. The factory exhaust system is heavily restricted by catalytic converters — removing them allows the V12 to breathe freely and produces one of the most visceral, theatrical exhaust sounds in the automotive world. Stage 2 pairs the bench ECU calibration with catless downpipes.

  • LP700-4 Stage 2: 760–780 HP
  • SV / SVJ Stage 2: 800–820 HP
  • Sound: The Aventador V12 at full throttle through catless downpipes above 7,000 RPM is a genuinely once-in-a-lifetime experience

Akrapovic Exhaust for Aventador

YPG Motorsport is an authorized Akrapovic dealer. The Akrapovic Evolution full titanium system for the Aventador removes approximately 14 kg from the rear of the car and is engineered to enhance the V12's sound character across the entire RPM range — not just at full throttle. Weight reduction on a mid-engine V12 supercar is measurable in both lap times and feel. Available in catless and cat-equipped configurations.

GCC Coverage

Aventador owners across Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman ship ECUs to YPG Motorsport for bench calibration. GCC ECU round-trip: 5–7 business days. The ECU removal process for the Aventador is straightforward — YPG provides detailed removal guides and pre-ship support for all customers.
