Stage 1 — 520 HP, Software Only
The S55's twin small turbos spool quickly and have significant headroom beyond BMW's factory calibration. Stage 1 increases boost pressure and optimizes fuelling for approximately 90 HP over stock. The F82's relatively light weight (1,497 kg with DCT) and 50:50 weight distribution make it one of the most rewarding tuned platforms in BMW's lineup.
Stage 2 — 600 HP with Exhaust
Stage 2 adds catless downpipes, upgraded charge pipe, and a front-mount intercooler. The S55's Achilles heel is heat soak — the stock air-to-water intercooler system saturates quickly in hot climates. An upgraded intercooler is particularly important for GCC owners. At ~600 HP, the F82 runs low-11-second quarter miles.
