Will an M156 short block fit my SLS AMG?

The SLS uses the M159, which shares the M156 block architecture. M156 forged internals and short blocks are compatible with appropriate ancillary modifications for the dry-sump oiling system.

Is the M177 in the C63 the same as the E63?

Both use the M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8, but the E63 variant has twin-scroll turbochargers with larger compressor housings. Forged internals and short blocks are cross-compatible.

Do I need a core exchange for a YPG engine build?

No. YPG Motorsport builds on fresh or reconditioned cores sourced in-house. No customer core exchange is required.
