Akrapovic System Types

Slip-On Line

Replaces the rear muffler section only. Connects to the factory mid-pipe. Installation: 30–60 minutes. Sound improvement is immediate — particularly on cars with valve-equipped factory exhausts where the Akrapovic note is present in every mode. Weight saving is modest. This is the right starting point for owners who want the Akrapovic character without a more involved build.

Evolution Line

Full titanium system from manifold/turbo outlet to rear exit. Maximum weight reduction (8–18 kg depending on platform), maximum acoustic development, maximum power gain. This is the system used in motorsport-derived builds and the one that makes the biggest measurable difference in performance and sound. Catless or cat-equipped configurations available depending on the platform and the customer's requirements.

Link Pipe / OPF-GPF Delete Kit

For post-2019 BMW M and Porsche 992 models fitted with an OPF (Otto Particle Filter) or GPF (Gasoline Particle Filter), Akrapovic offers link pipes that delete the filter. The OPF/GPF is the single largest restriction on modern turbocharged performance exhausts — its deletion transforms the exhaust note from muted to characterful. This is the most impactful single exhaust modification available for G80/G82 M3/M4 and 992-generation Porsche owners.

Ferrari 488 GTB & Pista

Akrapovic's 488 slip-on transforms the flat-plane V8 sound without making the car anti-social at low speeds. The Evolution system on the Pista is one of the great supercar exhaust sounds available. Recommended as a companion to bench ECU calibration and catless downpipes for a full Stage 2 build.

Lamborghini Aventador

The Aventador V12 with Akrapovic Evolution loses 14 kg and gains a exhaust voice that allows the high-RPM V12 character to come through properly. One of the most impactful exhaust upgrades for any car in the exotic segment.

Lamborghini Huracan

Available in slip-on and Evolution configurations. The naturally aspirated V10 through Akrapovic at high RPM is a benchmark sound. The Evolution system delivers meaningful weight reduction and an acoustic transformation at all RPM — not just at full throttle.

McLaren 720S

The 720S M840T factory exhaust is deliberately quiet. Akrapovic's titanium system transforms the car's presence at part throttle and under acceleration. Weight reduction: approximately 5 kg. Sound transformation: significant.

BMW M3 G80 / M4 G82

OPF delete link pipe kit first. Akrapovic slip-on second. This is the recommended two-step exhaust upgrade sequence for S58-equipped M3/M4 owners — it delivers maximum acoustic improvement for minimum investment before considering the full Evolution system.

Mercedes-AMG GT / GT S / GT R

The AMG GT platform with Akrapovic Evolution is one of the best V8 biturbo exhaust setups available. Rich, characterful, and appropriate for a car of the AMG GT's personality. YPG has fitted multiple Akrapovic systems to AMG GT platform cars in Kuwait.

Porsche 992 Turbo S & GT3

OPF link pipe deletion + Akrapovic slip-on is the recommended combination for 992 Turbo S owners who want the flat-six back. The GT3 with Akrapovic is a high-revving, acoustically extraordinary combination that properly represents the car's motorsport character.
