YPG Motorsport is Kuwait's leading exotic car ECU calibration and performance parts specialist. Founded in 2011 by Sammy Al-Abdalla and based in Hawalli, Kuwait, YPG has spent 14+ years building a reputation across the GCC for precision calibration, technical depth, and the kind of results that speak for themselves. We hold the world record for the first sub-10-second quarter mile in a Mercedes-AMG C63 W205, validated at Kuwait Motor Town — the Gulf Cooperation Council's only FIA Grade 2 certified racing circuit.
What We Do
YPG Motorsport specializes in ECU calibration, TCU tuning, bench ECU work, crate engine supply, engine building, and performance parts for exotic and German performance vehicles. Our core platforms are Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, BMW M, and Porsche. We serve customers in Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and internationally through remote ECU tuning (YPG Flash) and mail-in bench calibration (YPG Bench).
Why GCC Cars Need GCC Tuning
Every YPG calibration is written specifically for GCC operating conditions — 91–95 RON pump fuel, ambient temperatures regularly exceeding 45°C in summer, and GCC driving patterns that include significant low-speed urban traffic alongside high-speed motorway driving. A European or American calibration file applied to a GCC car is not a tune for that car — it is a tune for a different car in different conditions. YPG's calibrations are correct for Kuwait, correct for Riyadh, correct for Dubai, and correct for Doha. That specificity is the core of what we do.
The World Record Build
YPG Motorsport's world record Mercedes-AMG C63 W205 is the most validated proof of our calibration capability. The car runs a sub-10-second quarter mile at Kuwait Motor Town — the GCC's only FIA Grade 2 certified circuit with professional timing infrastructure. The build uses a full Stage 4 M177 engine: forged pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft; custom turbochargers; upgraded fuel system including LPFP, HPFP, and injectors; full catless exhaust; and a bench ECU calibration written entirely in-house by YPG's team. No borrowed maps. No external calibration. The entire build and tune was executed at YPG Motorsport's workshop in Hawalli.
