The stock high-pressure fuel pump on the Mercedes-AMG M177 and M178 4.0L V8 BiTurbo is the first bottleneck when pushing power beyond factory output. Whether you're running an aggressive ECU calibration, upgraded turbos, or ethanol-blended fuels, the OEM pump simply cannot deliver enough volume to keep rail pressure stable at elevated power levels.
YPG Motorsport's HPFP upgrade kits solve this with an oversized pump bore delivering 70% more fuel flow than stock — more than most competing systems on the market. Available in 250bar and 350bar configurations, each kit includes two upgraded pumps and a sensor wiring harness. Ethanol compatible. Plug-and-play fitment with no permanent modifications required.
